I love all kinds of music, but have had a strong connection with Hawaiian music from a young age. My grandma on the Hawaiian side had a radio that was only tuned to Hawaiian AM. Anyone who wanted to change the channel was sternly told otherwise. Growing up on Molokai, my Dad and Mom taught us to appreciate all things Hawaiian. My father was a fisherman. That's how we were raised...(Five Haole looking Hawaiians.) hah
